The Gator Mulcher 3-N-1 blade unique design has revolutionized the way blades mulch grass clippings. The angle of the Gator teeth redirects the air flow to keep the clipping directly in front of the cutting edge. The longer the clippings remain in front of the cutting edge, the finer the size of the clipping. These 3-N-1 blades can be used for mulching, bagging or side discharge mowing.

Blades Too Long - They Hit Each Other When Engaged!!!!!!!!!!!!
What are these yahoos doing? They cannot read a flipping tape measure?????? My old blades measure 21 5/16" These blades are supposed to measure 21 3/8". They actually measure 21 7/16". The blades hit each other when engaged!!!!!!!!!! What a bunch of flipping yahoos!!!!!!! The first and last blades I buy from Oregon. In 30+ years of replacing my lawn mower blades, I've never had this problem before. Looks like another reviewer had fit problems as well. Get it together Oregon!!!!!!!

FIRE SAFETY: Tips For Our Local 'mowists'
18.05.12 @ 1:39 pm | No Comments

Mower

What a great start to spring after a no-show winter. It’s time to put away the snow blower and bring out the mower. Hopefully the mower will start because you remembered to add a gas stabilizer when you put it away last fall. Do the same for your trusty snow blower that had it easy this winter! If you don’t you could be dealing with a gummed up carburetor next winter or worse, a gas leak because the stored, untreated fuel caused the fuel line to deteriorate.

When doing maintenance on your mower pull the spark plug boot off of the spark plug; this will prevent accidental starting. This is especially important if you are working near the blade(s). Check the mower out and make sure a mouse hasn’t taken up residence. A mouse nest in the area of the muffler could cause a fire. This in turn could grow larger if the fuel line is compromised. Also, you should check for chewed wires that may cause the mower not to start. For some reason mice seem to enjoy dining on electrical wire insulation. Damage of this type can also affect some of the safety features of the mower.
