Both include a fully independent, double-wishbone suspension with 9 inches of wheel travel. The 550 has up to 10.5 inches of ground clearance, while the S4 has 9.5 inches.
These machines also feature four-wheel hydraulic disk braking with stainless steel rotors. The sealed two-range continuously variable-speed transmission (CVT) drive case with high engine and CVT air intakes keep water and debris out and prevent overheating.
