Poor product
Received this charger new and ordered a new 12 volt battery for toy at the same time. Have tried charging the battery several times since receiving the charger, leaving it to charge one time for 48 hours. Charger were not charge the battery at all!!! Nothing!! Called Peg Perego back, and they want me to pay them $10 shipping and handling to replace their junk!!! I only paid $25 for the charger, why would i pay them another $10 to get another one!!!???? They sure dont stand behind their products, i have used it twice, didnt work either time, and now they want another $10 to replace what should have worked correctly in the first place????? What a ripoff!!

Just a battery charger
No big surprise, the charger charges the battery as deisgned. We bought a used Peg Perego Gator and it did not have the charger. Good price and quick shipping.

Peg Perego 12 Volt Charger
I opted to purchase this charger for my son's John Deere tractor ride-on as his other one had been lost in our move. I chose this one versus the quick-charge one based solely on that this one was nearly half the price. So far I am pleased with my purchase. The charger does charge the battery like it should. The light indicator on it however that is supposed to turn green when the battery is fully charged and be orange (I believe) when it is charging always stays green. This caused concern at first as I thought something was wrong with the charger or my battery because it was showing charged but the tractor was not working. Turns out it just wasn't charged. I chose not to return it just because of the light. Overall I would recommend this product to others.
