
Also called E-ink or electronic paper, Digital Ink is the display eBook readers rave about. It's why I love my Kindle (besides Amazon's great store).
In non-techie terms I'd call it a display that looks like paper and doesn't hurt you eyes at all. Seriously, I can't stress enough that it works and should change the way you think of displays.
Imagine staring at a computer screen for hours. Sad enough yet?
Now, think of the comfy-cozy feeling your eyes get from a good book or your local newspaper. Pretty different.
E-ink is that comfy-cozy, nonscreen feeling, except magically in a digital screen.
You can read eBooks, news, articles and PDFs on a magical eink display and feel like you're reading a book.
