Standing 14 Inches tall the base has a pewter-colored (black chrome) finish. Touching the base or metal framework anywhere turns the lamp on and off and controls the 3 power settings. The lamp uses a 40-watt bulb which is included. This lamp is unique because of the shade. In a black metal framework are 6 panels of glass. Each panel has a picture of a tractor with a barn and cow in the background. The diameter of the lamp is approx. 9 inches so this lamp makes a great desk lamp.
