Question : i have an older johne deere 320. the problem is it runs for a few minutes and stops. after it first stops it starts up but then kills after a few seconds. I believe the fuel is clean. I have checked the gas cap and it appears fine. the air filters are clean. I visually looked at the fuel filter without removing it and saw nio obsttructions or foreing matter. I assume the next step is to clean or repair the carb. I am not ovely mechanical or experianced. is there some other issue I should look at first? is the carb repair something i can do myself?
Answer :
Sorry about the wait. I’m posting a manual below that should be helpful in the rebuild process. If you check pages 2-11 – 2-13, it will cover removal and cleaning. Page 2-2 gives a parts breakdown showing how everything is assembled.
