Customer Reviews:
SOOOO cute!
We have had John Deere boots for our son since he was born. They are a little pricey but totally worth the cute factor and they LAST forever. The sizes run quite big so we get lots of use out of them. Everyone always comments on them. My son has never complained about them comfort wise. They do clean up well and shine up which darkens the patina and makes them even more like "daddy's". I highly recommend these boots for anyone with a son who loves tractors or being a cowboy!

not worth the price
i thought these were expensive for the quality. they were very stiff and uncomfortable. my son would not wear them because they hurt his feet.

Completely satisfied
I bought this item for my son age 4. He loves John Deere tractors so I thought he would like these. This was probably one of the best presents "Santa" brought. Great quality and he can put them on his self. Shipping was great as well, came before I expected. Thanks

Jason D asked on May 20, 2008: John Deere 115, 135 LE, or bigger?
EastCoastRider answered:
for your budget the John Deere's are the best. However there are others that are good as well. I have a kubota tractor that is over 16 years old and it has never had any problems. I also own a kubota zero turn mower as well as an exmark walk behind mower. Both are great machines. Kubota is probably out of your price range but exmark makes a lot of residential mowers which you may want to look at. They don't sell them at lowes and home depot though so you'd have to locate a dealer.

I haven't priced mowers lately but your dollar limit may keep you from getting what you want. I would shop around for used mowers not too old or rebuilt ones by a shop. Some stores finance and repossess mowers, then resell them. If you are set on $2500.00 I would suggest that you look at Craftsman by Sears. I think that they make a fair standard quality mower. I bought a used 11hp mower about 20 years ago and it is still going. Good luck.
Andrew F asked on Jul 22, 2008: What is the minimum height I should mow my lawn for the best out come?
chopsaw answered:
Two to three inches........for hot sunny area's ....I live on the west coast where it is damp........and can get away with golf course length.......but it takes a lot more green to keep it green............so have fun .........nice to have it around....makes the air feel goooooood........nite
