Published May 20 2009 Lisbon GM dealership closing Lisbon, ND (WDAY TV) - A local GM dealership is the first known store in our area being forced to close as the company cuts costs. Offutt motors in Lisbon has received notice GM won't renew its contract the fall of 2010. RDO owns the dealership along with the John Deere store in town. John Deere will stay open. GM is closing stores in smaller towns like Lisbon. Officials say its unfortunate the dealership is going out of business. As of now, none of its five workers is being laid off.

They might be transferred to John Deere. The company is also looking at selling used cars, shutting the car side down, or turning it into a retail business.
