The 50th annual Wisconsin Public Service Farm Show got underway on the EAA grounds in Oshkosh Tuesday.
This year's show features more than 430 exhibitors and is expected to draw thousands of visitors from the Midwest.
"Everything is here for the most part, all the big manufacturers," farm show manager Rob Juneau said. "John Deere has some new equipment out. The most fuel-efficient tractor in the world is here. They have a new disc bin, it's one of the most fuel-efficient and fastest ones out there. The machinery just keeps getting bigger and better, so the vendors are just here to display that."
While some of the machinery touts its fuel efficiency, the show is also promoting "green" progress.
"Our show is run on NatureWise; it's all of renewable energy," Juneau said. "We just thought because farmers are being green, we'd run our show on the green power also."
Gates are open from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 9 A.M. to 3 P.M. Thursday.
There's no charge to get into the show but parking is $3.
