My favorite toy
I bought this toy for my two year old grandson who loves trucks. This is no doubt his favorite toy. He has numerous books on construction vehicles and he lines the back hoe up to the picture in the book and says "same". He even takes it to bed. He likes how the parts move and he puts his play dough in it for dirt. It gets a lot of play time and has held up remarkably well. This toy is a real "keeper".

Well Loved
My son is heavy equipment crazy. He got this toy last Christmas when he was almost four. It was an instant favorite, and he took it everywhere. It is more durable than other backhoe toys he has, but it still had some problems. He USED it though, it wasn't just sitting around looking pretty. The bucket had to be re-attached on one side after a pin broke, and the backhoe arm would sometimes slip out if he put it at the wrong angle. All in all, it's stood up fairly well to rough play.

My 3-year old son's favorite toy
My son is obsessed with tractors and construction trucks so I got him this for his birthday. He sometimes takes this toy to bed, and has had hours of play both outside in the sand and inside with a large cookie sheet filled with pebbles. He loves to make the backhoe and front loader buckets work and the stabilizer legs are a definite plus. It is much more durable than the less expensive plastic vehicles you can pick up the same size. The toy is still as good as new, versus some of his others that have lost several parts because they just snap off. For me this toy was worth the money.
