The Williamson County Sheriff's Office has released the names of two men arrested after a burglary and a chase this morning in the Southall community.
Adrian Davis, 34, of Carthage and James Dubose, 22, of Smyrna are being held at the Williamson County Detention Center on charges of aggravated burglary, evading arrest and theft over one thousand dollars.
Davis and Dubose are being held on $11,000 bond each. They are scheduled to appear in General Sessions Court at 2 p.m. Dec. 8.
Williamson County deputies arrested two men after a chase that ended in a field near south of Franklin about 10:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Utility workers called police after they saw suspicious activity and a truck leave a house on Bending Chestnut Road with a riding mower in the back. With the description of the vehicle, a deputy spotted it on Southall Road. Another deputy then set up road spikes, which the truck ran over.
The spikes didnt stop the truck but damaged it and the deputy followed it. The men drove off into a field near Carters Creek Pike and Southall roads and stopped when they got to a creek and bailed out.
