TERANG Cemetery is likely to get a bit overgrown in the not too distant future after thieves stole two lawnmowers at the weekend.
Detective Senior Constable Gary Greene, of the Warrnambool Criminal Investigation Unit, said thieves forced entry into a storage container and stole a John Deere $2000 ride-on lawnmower and a $200 Victa mower.
He said the thefts happened between 5.30pm on Friday and 10am Sunday and it was suspected that thieves loaded the mowers onto a trailer to transport them.
