CHARGES:
Brian Roberts, 26, of 85 Prate Ave., was charged at 5 p.m. Monday with possession of crack cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers executed a search warrant at Econo Lodge, 226 N. Washington St., in room 524. A search of the room revealed crack cocaine, a soda can used to smoke crack and a burnt spoon on the floor, along with used needles and two crack pipes in the trash can. Police are also investigating four other people in connection with this incident.
MALICIOUS INJURY TO PROPERTY:
Two column poles attached to the roof of a home in the first block of Harlson Street fell, causing $1,200 in damage; five windows sustained $300 in damage; and the floor inside the home sustained $50 in damage between 5 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Tuesday.
A new 2.5-ton gas-pack air-conditioning unit reportedly sustained $4,500 in damage around 1 p.m. Tuesday at a home in the 200 block of West Williams Street.
STOLEN PROPERTY:
A 2008 Harpers 6-foot-by-12-foot black utility trailer valued at $1,130 and a Gravely X-treme Zero Turn lawn mower valued at $7,000 were reportedly stolen between 7:45 p.m. Sunday and 7:30 a.m. Monday from a driveway in the 1200 block of Kolb Road.
