Steering Wheel Knob
I recently had shoulder surgery and one of the worst things about the recovery was my lack of independence - especially my inability to drive! I ended up walking miles to and from the physical therapist - which was fine when weather was OK; but miserable during rainstorms. One of my sons-in-law fitted this Steering Wheel Spinner Knob to my Land Rover steering wheel and suddenly driving's a breeze!! Even tight 3-point turns! It took him about 3 minutes to install and life has changed for the better ever since! I heartily recommend this accessory - I'm not sure why anyone would need it unless you're incapacitated in some way - but I guess even laziness would be a good reason to get one of these little devices.

Should be better made.
When I first reviewed this (a month after buying it), I pretty much said this: It fits almost perfectly on the steering wheel (a bit tight, as the cushion on the wheel makes it a bit larger, but was ready to pretty much screw the screws all the way through). Spins well, and sticks out very little - especially compared to a couple other spinners I've tried. - - - - - - - - This is still pretty much true. Turns out they used glue to keep the stuff together, and after three months of use the stuff fell off. Mind you, It's still usable. I still got the pseudo-chrome stuff, and it spins as well as before. Unfortunately I can't give this a glowing review as part of the spinner has fallen apart. Five stars for working well, minus three stars for cheap parts. Still works (hence the second...

I had 2 problems
Overall the knob works as advertised, but I had two problems with it. 1) The device used to mount the 2 halves together is a very small allen wrench. As the screw heads are on the back side you can't see whether the allen wrench is properly positioned. I stripped the head of 1 screw in the process of tightening the screw and couldn't get the screww alll the way in. 2) The diameter of the opening is too large to snug onto my '97 Ford Explorer steering wheel, the kit should contain more or thicker shims. I'd do alot more research before I'd buy another one.
