Gathering and Putting Away Firewood
Early spring is the best time for working wood. Unless one has draft horses, whose work may be easier when sliding logs over snow, the perfect time to gather branches and logs is over frozen, snow free ground. I use a tractor and cart to gather the six or seven cords of wood we use for cooking and heating. Most of it comes from fence rows along hay fields and if you wait too long, traveling over emergent grasses damages them. Also, many areas become very wet as frost leaves the soil which severely limits how much weight a cart can carry without getting stuck and really hurting the grass.
I don’t have a cart, yet, for my electric tractor and still use a small diesel powered tractor that can pull its cart with at least half a ton of wood. The smaller electric tractor will have to make many more trips. There are four steps involved in working wood:

I bought the original 42 cc Poulan Pro 18 “Chainsaw gas, but after reading the reviews here I am again without even buying them from the stairs and instead of them. I’m very glad I did. I just a chain saw is needed around the house of fallen trees or odd job losses. So the idea of leadership is one of the mixed oil and gas are not on me. saw it would not be on the board sit for several months between application and I did not mention “to ensure the engine startup problems or repair of a gas chainsaw. But I was afraid this would not be powerful enough electric chainsaw. I’ve had two fallen trees with a base of around 15 inches, which I cut for firewood needed immediately. This chainsaw functioned perfectly. I know it was new was that the chain nice and sharp, but still had no problem through everything quickly. I liked being able to start and stop at will, without the hassle Priming an engine or overheating problems or a shortage of gas or messing with the throttle. I heard when I want to feel in the house for a drink of water. Went out and was immediately with just one squeeze of the trigger to cut back. I have a perfect half cord of firewood cut in just a few hours. Amazon delivered to my door, saw in 7 days with free shipping. The saw is not one thing or chain oil so I’ll run a memory for some oil. I was glad to see that nearly one liter was used chain oil for two trees. This told me that beautiful necklace and kept wet. Then again I spent about 10 minutes cleaning up the saw-like new and put it back on my shelf for next time. It took only the removal of the two plates and the chain rail and came immediately to clean up. Poulan Nice job.
