Could be more durable.......
My sons are 2 and 5. We had one of these and I bought a 2nd one so they would stop fighting over it because they both loved it so much! They are rough & tough boys, but one seat broke off and one steering wheel broke off. Otherwise, the tractors are very durable. They're made of metal and feel heavy when held in your hand.

It's just fun as shelf gadget for me
I bought this when I bought the lawn mower. It's just fun to have the model on the shelf of my office. It looks exactly like what's sitting in my garage. I have no idea what it's like as a toy and I am not rating it as such...I just know that if you own this lawn tractor, it's SOOOOOO worth having this toy around as a 40-something guy that likes models of his gadgets.

that is what my 20 month old grandson calls his father's John Deere lawn tractor. I bought this model to give to him.It is solid beautifully done 1/16 replica of John Deere lawn tractor. It say 14 years on box, but there in nothing that would require it. No small parts, nothing to fall off. I'm very sure he is going to love it. We will see this week end. The weekend has come and gone, He loved it and still does.
