Customer Reviews:
Avoid this generic, one size fits all replacement.
This replacement head is a far cry from what the original was. Yes it fits on the shaft, but that is about all it does. The original style head had two seperate divided channels for the two different strings, this replacement has only one and the strings become wrapped up very quicly and will not advance. I tried wrapping the trimmer string every which way but nothing would work. There are no instructions included with replacement head, and the ones in the original manual are for the original style head and are of very little help. I ended up finding an old junk trimmer with a bad motor and a good trimmer head and just took that one off and swapped them out, works like a charm again. Do not buy this replacement trimmer head, it will not work right.

Stens 385-256
Cant beat this product for the price. I works just like the original. My only complaint is that it comes with a star washer and have no idea where it goes. Stens customer service SUCKS!!! You have to be a dealer to talk to them. My old head didnt have a washer, so I didnt use this one.

Good price and easy solution
In the past trying to find the right part to repair the bump part this solves and is far easier than a trip to the shop where they have no interest in selling you the part when they have dozens of new weed eaters.
