GARDENING equipment has been stolen in two burglaries which hit the same road in Chalfont St Giles over the last week.
The first burglary took place on Monday between 6.30pm and 10am the following day in Doggetts Wood Lane.
Entry was forced into a shed and gardening equipment was stolen, including an orange STIHL hedge trimmer with a petrol engine, a yellow/grey Ryobi leaf blower and a red grass strimmer.
On Tuesday between 1.45pm and 3.45pm another shed was broken into in Doggetts Wood Lane. The burglars entered via the rear garden, gaining entry to an insecure shed and also forcing a locked shed open.
A white Spear and Jackson chainsaw, an orange Worx circular saw, a red four stroke engine Troy Bilt chainsaw, an orange hedge trimmer, a red grass strimmer, a red/black lawn mower and a ratchet screwdriver were all stolen from the building.
PC Gary Morton, of Amersham police station, said: “I would like to appeal to the public to contact us if they saw anything suspicious between these times.”
